‘Thrillist’ Names Nashville the No. 1 Place to Spend a Weekend
Nashville’s popularity is rising and it’s now considered the best place you could spend a weekend. Thrillistrecently announced their list of the 25 Best U.S. Cities to Spend a Weekend and Nashville came in at the top spot.
The publication raves about Music City and says visitors just can’t leave without sampling hot chicken (something we already know). They also recommend grabbing a delicious, and refreshing, bushwhacker from Edley’s and attending a show at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Thrillist raves about Nashville’s food and how we’re currently attracting a plethora of celebrity chefs. They mention not only our hot chicken but also our delicious BBQ. Of course if you’re eating as a sport, you may need to wet your whistle. The publication recommends taking the Nashville Brew Bus to sample some craft beer or stopping into a distillery for a whiskey tasting.
One of the things we’re most proud of in the article isn’t that Nashville has delicious food, drinks and a ton of great shows but that you can do it all and not break the bank. After all, many of our live music venues offer free shows and you can always head to Broadway to check out a talented cover band (don’t forget to tip!).
Have you been trying to convince one of your friends to head to Music City for a weekend getaway? Send them this article. It speaks for itself. When they’re finally ready to call Nashville home, have them call a Synergy Realty Network agent to make the transition to their new home as smooth as possible.
