Hayley Williams of Paramore Lists Historic Franklin Home
Hayley Williams, lead singer of the rock band Paramore, has put her historic Franklin home up for sale. Although Williams is a Mississippi native, she’s been in Franklin for 15 years and even started the band right here in Williamson County. Now, she’s ready to move on from the 1935 stone cottage.
According to the listing, she renovated and restored the three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage. It’s currently listed for $1 million and has 2,374 square feet. From the outside, the house looks quaint with gorgeous stone and dark shutters. It’s deceivingly spacious, though. The historic house is three stories with a fully finished basement.
A bright entryway welcomes visitors before they reach a white living area. No matter which room you visit, there’s no shortage of windows. It makes the entire house bright and cozy. The cottage’s kitchen looks southern with white walls, checkered valances above the windows and shutters on the window interiors. The island adds a rustic touch to the room with its style and dark color. There are also matching stainless steel appliances — refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave.
Outside of the house, there’s a fence for privacy (or your fur friends) and a screened-in porch. The porch is spacious enough that there is a six-person table in it currently as well as a porch swing. You’ll stay cool out there in the summer with the ceiling fan.
