15-House Development Planned for Reba McEntire’s Former Property

Country icon Reba McEntire’s Wilson County home officially has a sold sign in the yard. The property sold for $5 million and the land has a big future.

According to The Tennessean, Paul H. Burch now owns the 83-acre land that once belonged to McEntire. He closed last month and is now planning a 15-home development on an empty portion of the land.

The preliminary plan has been approved but will go before the County’s planning commission next week. The 15-house development is Cherokee Meadows and will use roughly 17 acres of the land. Each home’s land will vary in size. Some will be under an acre and some will be closer to two acres.

There’s no word on what will happen to the other
