Ronnie Dunn Pays $2.5 Million for Davidson County Property

Ronnie Dunn, one half of the Grammy Award-winning duo Brooks & Dunn, has invested $2.5 million in Forest Hills.

Dunn and his wife, Janine, purchased the Davidson County property from a local businessman, according to the Nashville Post. They bought the six-acre property from Thomas F. Frist III and his wife, Julie D. Frist, in southwest Nashville. That’s a big investment for the “Boot Scootin’ Boggie” singer! 

The Nashville Post quotes the Davidson County Register of Deeds records as saying the land at 1900 Chickering Road became Dunn’s for exactly $2.25 million! There’s no home on the property, it’s just six-acres of beautiful land. More than likely, Dunn will build some type of home or

Ryman Hospitality is Bringing a New Water Park to Nashville

Big news from Ryman Hospitality! The real estate investment trust is planning a major water park at Nashville’s Opryland.

According to The Tennessean, sources have confirmed that Ryman will finally move forward with the water park plans at the Opryland Resort and Convention Center. This is a big step since they’ve had several failed ideas in the past including a snow park and a park with a Dolly Parton theme. This one looks like it will actually stick.

Nashville’s popularity is already on the rise in the new year. Travel + Leisure has named Music City one of the 50 Best Places to Travel in 2017.

 Travel + Leisure’s highly anticipated annual list helps travelers nail down their vacation destinations early in the year.
