It’s been a long time coming but Nashville is one step closer to making the Gulch-SoBro pedestrian bridge dream a reality. According to The Tennessean, “the Metro Council completed a deal Tuesday to acquire the final piece of land.”

The pedestrian bridge has been a topic of conversation for quite some time and it’s been a very controversial topic. While some think the money could be better spent elsewhere, there are many others who are in favor of the $18 million bridge that would connect the Gulch and the SoBro areas. 

The Metro Council voted 34-3 in favor of the deal, according to the Nashville newspaper which stated that that vote gave “final approval of a transaction with the owner of the office complex Cummins Station to acquire land on the

New Market Square Coming To Nolensville

With Williamson Counties projected growth to be in excess of 160,000 new residents over the next 20 years, the city of Nolensville  is on the move.

Mill Creek Development, LLC has crafted a “new historic” Market Square. The idea is to create a family environment for street fairs, shopping and dinning. The $90 million project will offer walk able space as well as office, retail and residential space.
